Ebeling Events is an award winning event planning team currently servicing Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange and Santa Barbara counties in California and beyond for destination weddings. We are based in Malibu, CA hosting many Malibu destination weddings as we are local experts. We are also willing to travel beyond the city limits to plan and execute your perfect event. We love what we do and look forward to helping you have an amazing event, within your budget, that you get to enjoy yourself!
Ebeling Events creator, Kim has been in the hospitality industry her whole working life. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management, became a Sommelier in 2004 later earning her MBA from Biola University in Los Angeles, CA. She has been producing events large and small since 2002 while working for organizations, including The Walt Disney Company. After "retiring" from corporate life, she launched her own business that has grown into helping many people celebrate major milestones from weddings and birthdays to successful nonprofit fundraisers. Ebeling Events is based in Malibu, CA and works all over Southern California as well as produces Destination Events. Her team brings passion, precision and a calm to the events they produce while focusing on every last detail, treating your event and guests as their own. Katie is our associate lead wedding & event coordinator. She is from Michigan, but has also lived in Ohio, South Carolina, Utah, and now is here in California. She is a super hero teacher during the day and transforms into a coordinator at night. She began event planning 2022 and fell in love with it. Teaching has helped her in the event planning field as she is very organized, patient and is very flexible. Katie loves every step of teh event starting with the setup process and seeing the vision come to light. She LOVES seeing the couple enjoying their evening and knowing that we were able to help make it so special for them. Katie also loves being able to learn something new at each event and has fun doing it. We are thrilled she is a part of the Ebeling Events family!
In addition, we have a strong team of assistants that our with us at your wedding and event to ensure that we can execute your needs, set up your décor, and mange the day seamlessly. We partner with other event professionals and hire additional help as needed per event. We have also built great relationships with other vendors, and are able to refer the best referrals for your event.

Olivia is one of our Event Assistants. She moved out to Los Angeles from Minnesota to study Music Industry at the University of Southern California. During her time at USC, Olivia was heavily involved in planning events for her extracurriculars including an end-of-season banquet for the Trojan Marching Band, a 25-Year Reunion celebration for her a cappella group, and her program's first-ever Music Industry Career Fair for her capstone project. Olivia spends her weekends pet sitting & assisting with Ebeling Events. Olivia loves watching an idea come to life, and is always happy to assist in making your special day as perfect as possible!
